missed PE classes.

end of your paper. Use the school format

a sporting event and write a three page paper about the activity. Include the following information in the
paper:

of a prominent figure in the sport

#2 (counts as 5 days)
Research
sports drinks (i.e. Gatorade, Powerade, etc.). Write a three page paper discussing the
purpose and benefits of these drinks.
What does advertising emphasize?
In what circumstances should teens choose sports drinks over water? What are the primary ingredients of the
drink? What is the cost of these drinks?
ACTIVITY
#3 (counts as 5 days)
Read
a biographical article(s) of a successful athlete of your choice. Write a two page paper discussing the
attitudes that contribute to the athlete’s success. How has this athlete
influenced society? Do you feel they are
a positive role model for young athletes in our country and why?
ACTIVITY
#4 (counts as 5 days)
Define
sportsmanship and provide examples of
good sportsmanship. What is the fair
punishment/penalty for players (pro and amateur), coaches, parents, and fans
that demonstrate poor sportsmanship?
Have you ever witnessed an example of poor sportsmanship? Explain the situation that occurred and your
feelings on it.
