Manchester Middle School Principal Tom Baxter and his staff
said goodbye to 262 eighth graders at the middle school graduation ceremony on
June 14. The ceremony was held at Manchester Township High School, which will
be the students new home for the next four years.
Mr.
Baxter welcomed the audience of parents, friends, and family members, telling
them how proud he is of the graduates and assuring parents that are prepared
the challenges of high school.
Student presenters for the ceremony were: Chandani P. leading
the Pledge of Allegiance, Cara P. presenting the welcome address, and Joshua
S. presenting the farewell address.

Superintendent of Schools Dr. William DeFeo also congratulate
the graduates and urged parents to stay involved in their childrens education
even in high school. "They need you now more than ever," he said.
Teacher of the Year, Mr. Robert Pearce, assisted Dr. DeFeo and
several Board of Education members in the awarding of diplomas before Mr.
Baxter dismissed the class to move on to the challenges of high school.
